What's the Grand Prix you ask? Why it's only the most highly anticipated race series of the year (on Cape Cod...for members of the club..hee hee)! Anyway, current CCAC members meet every Sunday for 8 weeks to run, walk, race and enjoy each others company as well as great food and drink! It's a fantastic way to stay in shape in the colder months, keep in touch with all your running buddies and make some new one's too! More information about the Grand Prix Series can be found on the "Grand Prix" page.

Run the beautiful and enchanting Chatham Harbor Run 10K course in the Fall!

This is a USA T&F sanctioned event on a certified 10K course. Sponsored by local businesses and administered by the Cape Cod Athletic Club to benefit Cape Cod Healthcare Health & Wellness programs, scholarships, and WCOD Stuff-A-Bus Annual Toy Drive Trophies will be awarded to the first overall male and female and the first 3 finishers in 10 year age groups. The race starts about 2/10 mile from the school promptly at 11:00AM.

After awards are handed out in the school gym, join us for our post-race party TBD.

Although not mandatory, we'll be kicking off the club's annual Stuff-A-Bus Toys For Tots holiday gift drive on race day. If you feel so inclined, please bring an unwrapped item suitable for children ages 0 - 18. We'll have a drop box on site on race day.

    Sunday – November 19, 2017 – 11:00AM

Monomoy Regional Middle School, 425 Crowell Rd. Chatham

The Club will also be asking members to volunteer for the race.

If you are looking for something to do on Sunday and aren't racing...

The CCTT has rescheduled the IM Swim (1.2 and 2.4 mile distances) for this Sunday, July 30th, 7am at Sheeps Pond in Brewster. Margaret Muse is coordinating all of the moving parts that need to be in place to hold the swim, which include:

Volunteers are still needed (15 is the number we hope to have) for either the evening before (set-up), early Sunday morning (more set-up and registration) and during the swim itself (helping to guard the swimmer).

A donation of $10, towards the lifeguard fund. With this, the Team can hire a few certified lifeguards to go along with the volunteers.

If you plan to swim you would need to pre-register with Margaret at Swimmers do need to be current CCAC members to participate.

Parking will be at the Route 124 lot just south of the entrance to Fishermans Landing.

So if you are interested in either volunteering or swimming please let Margaret know as soon as possible.

    Thank You

    The CCTT Steering Committee

Again this year we'll be going to Hardings Beach July 18th, 2017 after our Tuesday Night Group run/walk/bike/swim from Monomy Middle School. We have all kinds of options for distances. Could do a little of everything. Most likely the swim will be at the beach after all the other stuff. Walk could be 5k to 5 miles, start at 5:00pm most of the time. Run is usually 10k+ and starts at 5:30pm. Bike could be anything really time to be TBD. Bike/run will be about 12 miles/5k, probably 4:45 pm or so. Looking for somebody who knows the area if we get some people to bike to lead the way. As we get closer and Howard gets some feedback on what members want to do  that information will be posted on Facebook.

We've got a couple of grills, might need one more, so bring your burgers and buns, hot dogs and buns or whatever and some to share. Chips, potato salad, pasta salad and other cookout stuff. Paper products would be key, as well as a couple of tables. There will be water/soft drinks provided. Email Howard if you're going to bring something special so other folks can see and not duplicate.

Has this ever happened to you? Stuck miles from home, and you've never really looked at what's in that saddle bag? Oh, no! Wipe those tears away, for the folks from Sea Sports Cyclery will be giving a seminar on do-it-yourself bike repairs and maintenance Thursday, June 8, 7 pm at the Dennis Police Station (Community Room). This is a Cape Cod Triathlon Team event, but everyone and anyone is invited. If you'd like, bring one of your bike wheels and tools (if you have them) and bring your questions. See you there!
