
Bill Riley Wins Age Group at Ironman
He does it again. Bill Riley, competing in the 60-64 age group,
recently won the Gatorade Ironman World Championship in
Hawaii. At the age of 60, he completed the brutal course in
11 hours, 33 minutes, and 59 seconds.
Bill swam the 2.4 miles in 1:18:18, then rode his bike 112 miles
through the lava fields in 6:21:56, and then ran the marathon in
3:53:45. He finished 774th overall
The Ironman experience is not new to Bill. He has previously
won the 50-54 and the 55-59 age groups.
