Brewster, MA 30 July 2005 -- Health for Life Inc. in Brewster, owned and operated by Lorraine Hurley MD, has purchased a mild hyperbaric oxygen chamber for use in her practice. She is making it available to the general public. It is the only chamber currently available on Cape Cod. Mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy has broad applications and benefits. It is used to enhance athletic performance and recovery from sports related injuries, to assist in recovery from neurological and vascular injury (as occurs with stroke, diabetes, Lyme’s disease and autism) and to improve wound and surgical healing.
