2017 Club Officers
PRESIDENT: HOWARD TANSEY
Howard started running 13 years ago in hopes of completing the Falmouth Road Race and had no plans to run or race again. A few local 5k's later, some friends convinced him to try a half and then a full marathon. Fast forward to today and has become the clubs designated ultra guy, running everything from local 5ks to 100 milers, his fastest 100 coming in at 19:30. His favorite distance is 50 miles, of course it has to be on trails. This year he has really gotten bitten by the cycling bug and plans club rides. He has been a member of the club for 12 years, served 2 years as Vice President and is currently serving his 4th year as President. Howard has a great passion for the club and is always looking to bring in new members. He was born and raised on the Cape and lives in Harwich with his wife Tammy, they have three wonderful children. His wife is a walker and his daughter Sadie has the gift to run.
