| Each year, the race director and her top secret henchmen select a Gray's Great. These select few are honored with a special award in recognition of their contributions to running and involvement with the community. Each year, the names of the Gray's Greats from years past are imprinted on the shirtsleeve of the race t-shirt and are immortalized forever, or at least until a few thousand washings and a couple of hard runs have faded the names beyond recognition. Nevertheless, selection as a Gray's Great is a special distinction and the following people have received the Gray's Greats award since its inception. |
