CCAC Grand Prix Series 2002-2003

The CCAC Winter Grand Prix series returns for another year with 6 races running Sundays through December and January.  The series kicks off with Harry's at 11:00 am Sunday, December 8, 2000, at Harry's Cajun Restaurant in Hyannis, MA (700 Main Street).

Even if you can't run, bring along the whole family, help out, and enjoy the camaraderie.  You must be a paid up member of CCAC to be eligible for the Grand Prix series awards but all runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome.  Also, you must have run FOUR of the possible six events to win an award.  The top four times you run will count as your score in the final standings. As usual, Grand Prix awards as well as CCAC awards will be given out at the annual banquet and will be presented for age group, clydesdale/filly, and walking categories.  If you're not a CCAC member, surprise!  This year as a special incentive, you get to come for $5 a race as well.  Bring all the friends you can find.  But its still members only for series awards and for that awesome newsletter.

Mark your calendars, for you don't want to miss these competitive but friendly social events. Where else can you run, eat, drink and party on a winter Sunday for only $5.00? One additional thing -- please bring a dish or some goodies to take some of the burden off the host or hostess for each event beginning December 15th. See you there.
