(Chatham, 07 April 2008) - Welcome to the 30th Annual Edition! Maybe a special event or two planned for this year and the t-shirts are certain to disappear quickly. On-line registration is now open for the 30th running and we hope to see you there! (Chatham, 25 June 2007) - Full results have now been posted for both the 5K walk and the 10K run. And yes, it really was 10K and not 5 miles. A request is out to the timing company to update the race title. Save the date for next year: 22 June ... and tell all your friends! (Chatham, 24 June 2007) - Cloudless skies turn the heat on but low humidity make for slightly better than average conditions for the 29th running of the Chatham Harbor Run. Leading from wire to wire, Joe Navas claimed the overall win in 33 minutes, holding off returning champion Ian Nurse and a record-sized field, at least in recent history, of 277. Joe now joins the two-timers club but can he make it a tri-fec next year? Lizbie Porter of Arlington claimed the overall women's title in 41:19 with a comfortable 1 minute 13 second cushion over Dawn Varnum of Eastham. Full results will be available shortly. Thanks to all who participated and join us next year ... and don't forget that "everyday is like this in Chatham." [- John Whelan, official starter and honorary race mascot] |
