	The Annual Turkey Trot, a fun walk or run over 3.1 miles of winding and rolling paved roads in Chatham, will be on November 22 to benefit the Lower Cape Outreach Council. Registration is available on day of event from 7 to 8 AM, with the entry fee of $5.00 plus a bag of non-perishable grocery items. Children 12 and under are free and need bring only one grocery item. There will be free long sleeved t-shirts commemorating the event while supplies last. Raffle tickets will be available for wonderful prizes. Parking at Oyster Pond -- Veterans Field -- and Behind CVS.

	Please join Barnstable High School Cross Country members (new and old) for a 2.9 mile race/run around Hathaways Pond on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Your "First Loop" split and finish time will be provided. The "Go" will be given at 10:00am sharp so please get to the course early (9:15 is recommended) in time to warm up. Participants are welcome to race the course or run it leisurely. This is not an "official" race; there are no entry fees (although a donation of $5 to a TBD charity or the Cross Country team may be suggested) nor awards and all participants run at their own risk and discretion.
