We meet at the House of Pizza ready to ride @ 5 am. Finished
by 6:30 -7:00. We warm up then do about 13 hills in West Falmouth (ViewCrest,
Westmoreland etc). We re-group at the top of each hill so almost any
ability level could do this ride. It's not a lot of miles...20-25...but
they are painful miles!
This is a 3/4 - 1 mile Open
Water Swim. It starts in the ocean and ends in the harbor - no one gets
left behind. [2009 status unknown as of 1 July 2009]
Tour the streets of Chatham on
the famed Chatham Harbor Run course. You can run the normal 10K or
take the 5K shortcut. The course winds down to Stage Harbor from the
Jr. Sr. High School, along Bridge Street, past the Chatham Lighthouse and
along Shore Road. There are usually 10-20 runners and paces range
from 8:00-11:00mpm. Afterwards, runners gather at Campari's or the
Chatham Squire for some post-run snacks and beverages.
For riders with experience riding/racing in a fast pace line. I'd
say A or B-plus riders only! There are spots where the pace gets over 30
mph...this is a big boy/big girl ride. We leave from the House of Pizza at
5 am and cover the Cape Cod
Marathon Course. Finish by 6:30-6:45. FAST and FUN and PAINFUL!
Choose an easy run along the
bike trail and through Orleans Center or trot down to the Nauset Middle
School track for a more structured training session. All ages and
abilities are welcome.

A laid back run along the bike
trail in Harwich, you'll run past some cranberry bogs and a small pond or
two. Five to ten runners gather for an easy paced run after work and
a little socializing.
9.8 mile loop --- same as the
Coast Guard Duathlon bike leg. Meet at 5:10 am at the base gym ready to
ride. Finish by 6:30-7:00 depends on how much you want to warm down. We
start the slowest riders first---fastest last...30 seconds apart. We warm
up the course first ...do the time trial and then warm down. ALL ARE
WELCOME...BUT you will need to fill out forms to receive a pass to enter
the base, and then show a photo id and the pass to get onto the base PLUS
be very respectful at the gate...jokes don't go over well in this post

An open-water salt sea swim
held at the high tide closest to lunchtime. No life guards but plenty of
opportunity to practice ocean swimming and dealing with light surf.
Whether you choose to run this
one hard to test yourself on an accurate 5 mile course or use it to unwind
after a long work week, this is the most competitive of the CCAC weekly
runs. The top 5 men and top 5 women get their names listed in the
Saturday edition of the Cape Cod Times. The course starts in
downtown Hyannis and takes a tour out by the Kennedy Compound and through
Hyannisport before finishing outside of Islands. Paces can range
from 5:30-11:00mpm and someone has been out running every Friday for over
20 years without a missed day.

Self-supported training
triathlon - no lifeguards, no gear watching except on designated team
'practice-race' days (see Race Calendar for
details). These are great opportunities to practice bricks, transitions
or other triathlon elements with a supportive group of Cape Cod
triathletes.
Looking to get a long run in?
Stop off at the Johnny Kelley Recreation Area and see if anyone else is
interested in some company. Courses, paces and attendees vary
according to race schedules and the weather. Some days you're on
your own, some days you'll find another body or two.
