baa If you’re running the Boston Marathon, why not run as part of a CCAC team? No performance requirements, nothing extra for you to do except get your name in to Bill Masterson as soon as possible. Teams are scored and then listed separately in the post-race yearbook. Let’s see how well we can compete with other New England clubs on this long-course challenge.

The club’s room at the Lenox has been confirmed. After the race, go to the main desk and ask for either the Cape Cod Athletic Club room or John Worgan. It’s a great place to unwind and get a hot shower after the race.

BAA has announced a brand new 5K on Sunday morning, 19 April. Replacing the popular Freedom Run, this 5K for friends, family and anyone who wants to be part of the Boston experience, is a short loop through Boston which starts and finishes at the marathon finish line. Capped at 4000, registration opens today and is expected to fill quickly.
