This Wednesday, 18 Feb, Bill Burnett, founder and race director of several local triathlons including Cohasset, Marlborough and Gloucester, will be going before the Nantucket board of selectmen seeking final approval for a Nantucket Triathlon to be held 11 July 2009. If you can’t make it to the meeting, please show your support for local multisport activities by sending an e-mail to the Town Manager, Elizabeth Gibson (lgibson@nantucket-ma.gov) or the Asst. Town Manager, Malachy Rice (mrice@nantucket-ma.gov). Let’s make New England a triathlon destination!
